Intuitive operation
The intuitive and innovative operation in the front end happens in real time - the customer can playfully set the desired 3D cuts and see the result live. Quantities, lengths, angles and inclinations of the end sides can be specified. For clear and unambiguous identification, the left side is shown in yellow and the right side in blue. This avoids misconfigurations with asymmetrical profiles and allows the customer to playfully set up his 3D cuts. The customer can find his cut lists within his user account when placing orders.
Dimensions
Another special feature of the 3D cut is the display of the length of the 3D cut directly above the product. If the angles are adjusted or the length is changed, the end positions of the arrows move with it and the absolute length of the cut always remains visible. Both with vertical and horizontal cuts, incorrect configurations are prevented and the customer can see his 3D cut, including the absolute length, directly in front of him.
Scale price
The graduated price of the blanks, which can also be set individually per product and product variant, immediately catches the eye. It is possible to create a basic price for each 3D cut and each variant or you set the cut prices for different lengths (e.g. a beam in 6, 8, 10, 12 m) of a product individually. This enables you to offer staggered discounts to encourage your customers to order multiple cuts. The more cuts are requested, the lower the per-cut price becomes. Your customers can buy larger quantities at lower prices, have more choices and you can generate more sales. An incredible added value for both parties!
Minimum price
The minimum price covers the initial costs. Short cuts of different products may not be worthwhile to sell in terms of material value. Therefore a minimum price is reasonable and as a dealer also necessary to cover the time, staff, sawing and wear costs. The minimum price can therefore also be seen as an expense allowance, which protects against such cases. Here, too, a minimum price can be specified individually per product and variant. This way you are flexible and offer tailor-made prices, which only have to be entered once.
Proportional price calculation
Be fair to your customers and charge only what the customer has actually bought. The minimum price ensures that you do not get lost in small orders and the proportional pricing ensures high customer satisfaction and long-term customer loyalty. The fact that remnants are not charged is immediately apparent below the price for each product that can be cut to size. This ensures an individual adjustment to customer wishes and exact prices for the selected product, which makes purchasing decisions easier and makes you more attractive on the market.
Tolerances
Tolerances are a necessary evil in cutting, as exact cuts are often not possible. Therefore small tolerance ranges are freely definable in the backend - per product and variant these ranges can be set individually. This way you offer transparency for your customers and safety when cutting at the saw.
Optimized cuts
The BestFit algorithm ensures an optimal distribution of the 3D cuts on the piece goods. This minimizes the residual lengths and thus the waste. In addition, the BestFit algorithm enables an optimized calculation of the number of cuts.
Example:
If the customer creates a 4m cut from a 6m product, he will find 2 cuts on the list of cuts in the shopping cart. The trim cut and the actual cut. If he wants a straight cut of 4 meters length and a cut of one meter length with 45° angles at the ends from the same 6m product, 4 cuts are calculated. This way the customer has exactly the lengths he requires, you offer a customer-centered service and extensive transparency.
Cutting table for the saw
The practical cutting list export together with an export of the live image of the 3D cut for the saw can be created in the backend into a PDF file. The cut list shows the quantities, angles and tolerances of the 3D cuts. The BestFit calculation shows the best possible combination of cuts to keep residual quantities as low as possible.
Cutting table for the customer
The customer can view his configured 3D cuts at any time in the orders. If he wants to take another look at his assembled 3D cuts in the shopping cart, he can do this with just one click and see his 3D cuts clearly sorted in a table.
Rule Builder for calculating shipping costs
For an individual shipping cost calculation of 3D cuts, the 3D cut module has two new rules. With the first rule, item positions within an order can be identified as blanks and with the second rule it is possible to define different shipping costs according to blank lengths. No matter how individual your customers' wishes are, you are able to handle them and don't have to worry about calculating the packaging of individual items.
Customer request
You never stop learning! That's why we are constantly developing our plugins. With the current version of the cutting plugin you can freely decide whether the cutting form is opened or closed when a product is loaded. Furthermore, you can decide individually per product whether the sale is only possible with additional cutting. This is done in the backend via the function "cutting required"
Import/Export
omnoto plugins offer full support for the import/export function of your store. With Shopware 6 it is very easy to export base plugin data for your local product matching. This way you can work individually and don't have to rely on any other services. Create .csv-files and assign the matching 3D cuts to your product. After matching you can make changes or carry out your initial product import via import/export. You can make further changes and assignments on your own at any time and import without the help of third parties. Keep the overview, maintain and service your products according to your wishes and requirements!
