Pipes have their own requirements compared to other products. Therefore, a special pipe plugin is indispensable in the modern digital steel store. Here, versatile attributes such as wall thicknesses, construction types, inner and outer diameters or threads have been added. Based on these, the customer can filter by these attributes and thus find the desired product on your ecommerce platform quickly, efficiently and accurately.
Measurements
Not all pipes are the same, which is why it is important to consider a wide range of dimensions for tubes. In addition to length, customers absolutely need other information to find their specific pipe. So they can search for pipes which can be pushed into each other, find the perfect fitting pipes for certain couplings or further requirements. Largest inner/outer diameter and largest/smallest wall thickness complete the information for each pipe. Only those who can specify each diameter individually can offer options that quickly lead to the desired product.
Geometry and other details
The dimensions are supplemented by further details: pipe geometry (round, rectangular, squared, oval), manufacturing process (drawn, welded, seamless) and thread type. No matter which tube geometry you want to offer, with the omnoto steel store there are no limits. With the prefabricated geometries round, square, rectangular and oval, tubes of all shapes and sizes are imaginable. Different manufacturing processes like drawn, welded or seamless pipes can be defined at any time. If you want to offer tubes with threads, 25 different thread types are already pre-programmed.
Processing
The wishes of your customers can be incredibly individual, therefore our processing plugin complements the pipe-plugin, so that every customer can be satisfied. If a customer wants a called product to be threaded, this can be done with our processing-plugin: With just a few clicks a thread can be added on one or both sides. It is up to you whether you want to add left- or right-handed threads as a processing option.
Optimized overview for a better user experience
The display of the pipes details in the listing and on the product detail page provides an immediate overview of your products. In the backend you will find all settings for products, categories and threads. Define every detail yourself, add new thread types and pipes or edit them as you like. But this is not enough for the overview! In order to present the desired product immediately and with little effort, each attribute can be filtered in the listing area. This makes the search even easier, the display more precise and increases customer satisfaction!
Individual display of filters
Via the backend, you can individually set the selectable filters in the storefront for each CMS page (such as aluminum, mild steel, etc.). This allows, for example, to remove the "smallest inner diameter" filter for angles. This possibility facilitates the search for the right product and ensures a clear appearance without confusion!
Import/Export
omnoto plugins offer full support for the import/export function of your store. With Shopware 6 it is very easy to export base plugin data for your local product matching. This way you can work individually and don't have to rely on any other service. Create .csv files and assign the matching pipes to your product. After matching you can make changes or your initial product import via import/export. You can make further changes and assignments on your own at any time and import without the help of third parties. Keep track yourself, maintain and service your products according to your wishes and requirements!

With the handy duplicate item feature, you can duplicate a pipe at any time and make a adjustments. Change diameter, wall thickness, thread or the manufacturing process. With just a few clicks you can quickly and efficiently create another pipe with small changes according to your wishes and specifications. Our plugins are prepared for this and support you fully! Each duplicated article inherits the plugin settings of the original article - this saves you time and nerves with further settings.
